Armed with a brand new car battery actually capable of handling my laptop and all the other gadgets I run, I headed out for a day of trackside work.

(map) Technically Campbellville, Guelph Junction is the junction of the Guelph Junction Railway -- currently serviced by OSR -- the CP Hamilton sub, and the CP Galt sub. It is between Milton and Galt on the CP Galt sub.
A one-unit-wonder arrives at Guelph Junction on its way South on the Hamilton sub with 282 axles of articulated empty intermodal cars.
The crossing gates at First Line - Galt sub mile 39.88 - come down for the Hamilton turn just out of view to the right. After three minutes, the gates give up and go back up.
CP 141 - the empty frame train - heads through the crossing at 39.88 at the West end of the junction.
