We did a little exploring and caught six fairly normal trains everywhere from Drumbo to Georgetown.
(map) North-West of Brantford, Drumbo is the site of the long-abandonned Drumbo sub, but the CP Galt sub passes near town and it has a couple of good spots to shoot from.
CP #159 passes the block signal just East of the siding at Blandford.
CP 6001 East passes through the town of Drumbo with 6 more units.
Scotch Block, Ontario
(map) Scotch Block is an excellent photography location at mp 30.0 CN Halton sub, between Milton and Georgetown.
CN #149 crosses signal 300 Halton sub.
(map) Georgetown's CN Silver is the site of the junction between CN's Halton sub and the CN-owned, GEXR-rented Guelph sub. It is between Guelph and Brampton on highway 7.
CN #382 crosses Trafalgar Road near Silver.
CN #275 crosses Trafalgar Road.
(map) The city of Guelph is my home town and is just East of Kitchener-Waterloo on the GEXR Guelph sub, and the Ontario Southland Railway/Guelph Junction Railway track, the other end of which is at Guelph Junction.
VIA #87 crosses Wellington Road 29 outside Guelph to the East.
