With a serious case of cabin fever setting in and beautiful weather outside, we went to the Galt sub for an unidentified westbound, came back for lunch, then went to mile 30 for an eastbound and rerouted CN Q199. With nothing else in the area we headed up to Tottenham to shoot the South Simcoe tourist train and then went to VIT for a southbound before returning home.

CP 243 crosses the far side of the field at east switch Puslinch.
Scotch Block, Ontario
(map) Scotch Block is an excellent photography location at mp 30.0 CN Halton sub, between Milton and Georgetown.
A CN eastbound climbs the hill toward Toronto.
CN Q199 Toronto-Burnaby takes the southern route with mostly baretables.
Tottenham is the home of the South Simcoe Railway, a tourist line that passes under the Mactier sub between Palgrave and Alliston.
South Simcoe Railway's tourist train runs up the short line and returns.
(map) Vaughan is just South of Bolton on the CP Mactier sub and is host to CP's Vaughan Intermodal Terminal.
CP #220 passes VIT with an Olympic unit leading, finally giving me one in daylight more than a year after they went into service.
